DOES YOUR TOWN HAVE A LIBERTY TREE MEMORIAL?
Here is a great Eagle Scout community service project. Eagle Scout candidates can establish a Liberty Tree Memorial (LTM), a green and growing replica of the famed Liberty Tree of the American Revolution by planting a ceremonial American Liberty Elm and installing a commemorative plaque in your city or town. ERI has a donor ready to sponsor your LTM, so your only cost will be time given to planning and planting! Giving to the community is part of the Scouting tradition, and a Liberty Elm is a gift that cleans the air, conserves water and helps your community’s “go green efforts”. Call your Boy Scout Troop leader today. We’ll do the rest by providing a ceremonial Liberty Elm with a 20” x 12” commemorative Liberty Tree bronze plaque (see photo below.) for your ceremony. We’ll also include a beautiful, framed commemorative Liberty Elm print with a copy of Thomas Paine’s “Liberty Tree” poem as a thank you for your participation to hang proudly in your town hall. This Eagle Scout project will be remembered for generations to come as the American Liberty Elm, a living legacy and a growing tribute to the Scouts and the liberties our country’s forefathers died to preserve. When you order (6) or more No. 3 Liberty Elms (14-19 ft. tall) ERI will donate a larger Liberty Elm with Liberty Tree Memorial Plaque and framed Elm Etching with Thomas Paine's poem "Liberty Tree." Size of FREE tree to depend on size and quantity of trees ordered. The FREE Liberty Elm and Bronze Plaque will be presented in your name as a gift to the municipality of your choice for planting on public property. For the gift tree, you pay only loading and freight charges. Your gift will help ERI fulfill its mission to "Re-Elm" the streets of America. The framed print and poem will be sent to you in thanks for your support.

READY-TO-ISSUE SPECIFICATION FOR DISEASE-RESISTANT AMERICAN LIBERTY ELM
Contractor shall plant, where shown, disease-resistant American elms of size indicated. Elms shall be Ulmus americana "libertas." This is not a bid item. These trees will be supplied by owner/client or landscape architectural firm as required under the Liberty Elm "Grow-to-Order" Program.
